Theme of the work is a “tranquility” which has re-defined on my own; the comfortable and stable state on our mind. When I see the sea or sky, I feel comfortable. I picked blue from there. In terms of the oriental theory, sea, sky and ‘me’ become one. The light-woods and oriental colour pigment I use has a slower permeability characteristic than paper. It is a good material to express the direction or size of the flow of color that is spreading quietly as I intended. Only one blue is superimposed, deep, and constantly elicits thoughts from the depth.
