The everyday moment of having a meal is when people recharge their energy after a long day, or become their true self as the food disarms one from reality. Living alone in a foreign country, away from my home, I had no idea of what to eat. Therefore, I followed my friends in search of nice food. I learnt to appreciate every meal, thus try to maximise the enjoyment of having food.

However, the act of consuming food and feeling full after a meal is sometimes treated as a guilt or guilty pleasure - due to the lookism culture in Korea. Through capturing the moment when people are excited about their food and enjoying it, those negative thoughts are put to the side to allow true appreciation for those valuable moments. I hope to share this visual appreciation of the excitement and pleasure of eating food that I have captured of those sitting on the same dining table.
